A healthy relationship is dependent upon many elements which not only include what
you do but how you do it. Many confuse happiness in one aspect of their
relationship to being in a healthy situation. However, your partner must be
able to satisfy you in all areas of your life and not just one. It is important
for your significant other to fit the goals you envision for yourself. This
will ensure that together you can reach endless possibilities. So how do you
determine if you are in a healthy relationship? I have listed a number of
things your partner must do in order to ensure a healthy lasting relationship.
Your partner must:
1) Be supportive in every decision
you make;
2) Love your flaws;
3) Comfort you in times of need;
4) Listen to you;
5) Help you reach your goals;
6) Want your success as bad you do;
7) Be there for you in times of need;
8) Love and care for you
unconditionally; and
9) Always want what is best for you
These are components of a healthy relationship. If your partner loves you
then these steps should come easily. Remember that it’s ok to be selfish in
these situations always think about yourself and what is best for you.
